When’s My Shift is staff scheduling for senior living, made by Uoma Labs. If something is wrong, this page says who can fix it fastest.

If you work at a building using this

Start with your scheduler. Almost everything about your own record is theirs to change and takes them seconds: your name, your phone number, the department you show up under, and whether you can sign in at all. Going through them is faster than going through us, every time.

I can't sign in.

You sign in with the email address or phone number your building has for you — not one you choose. If it isn’t working, ask your scheduler which one they have, and to send you a new sign-in link. That link sets your password for both the website and the app.

I never got a sign-in link, or it stopped working.

Links run out after 48 hours on purpose. Your scheduler can issue a new one, which takes them about ten seconds and cancels the old one.

My schedule is empty.

You only see weeks your scheduler has published. A week being worked on is invisible until they publish it, which is deliberate — a draft is somebody thinking out loud, and turning up to a shift that moved is worse than not knowing yet.

A shift on my schedule is wrong.

Tell your scheduler. Shifts are theirs to move, and the app deliberately doesn’t let anybody quietly edit their own hours.

I'm not getting notifications.

Check the Me tab in the app — if it offers to turn notifications on, they are off. If it says they are blocked, your phone’s own Settings has them switched off for this app, and that has to be turned back on there first. Notifications are always optional; nothing about the schedule depends on them.

I want my details changed or removed.

Your building holds your record, so ask your scheduler or administrator first — they can change or delete it directly. If they can’t help, write to dan@uomalabs.com and we will. See the privacy policy for what is held and for how long.

If you run a building

Questions about setting a building up, adding staff, coverage plans, billing, or anything that looks like a fault: write to dan@uomalabs.com. If something is broken, the fastest fix comes from knowing the building, the week, and what you expected to see.

The app

The phone app is for staff — your shifts, open shifts you can pick up, and time off. It needs an account issued by a building already using When’s My Shift; there is no public sign-up, because a schedule belongs to a building rather than to whoever downloads an app.

Everything the app does, the website does too, at whensmyshift.com — so nobody is stuck because of a phone.
